I noticed this weekend while listening to my LP collection that I was getting a faint hum in the background, only when using TT. My TT is a Rega P5 with a TT PSU (separate power supply unit) and Exact cartridge. With nothing on the TT when I turned up the volume on the pre an audible hum was present with the TT chosen as the source. anything else as source no noise. I know Regas are grounded internally; what can I do to rid this noise?

Initially, I had a ground loop problem, but after I connected the MAGIC splitter to my cable, the hum went away. Lately, however, I have been noticing a very annoying background noise while watching...-

by Chris DThis is kinda cool. The USB feature is really interesting--automatically converts to a digital audio file?
