    Stacking Rotel Amps

How hot do the 1075 and 1070 run? Has anyone successfully stacked these amps for permanent use?

You should not have an issue, both amps run decently cool.

I have an RMB-1075....it's stays pretty cool but it only has to run surrounds, center, and one back channel. I have an RB-1080 sitting on top of it but I used "spacers". Went to the hardware and got 4 PVC pipe connectors...around 2 inches in diameter and 1.5" long (I think that's about right). I spray painted them with flat-black paint. They are wide enough to encircle the 'feet' of the 1080 and being made out of smooth plastic, do not mar the 1075's finish on which it sits.
It gives that 1.5" of separation but is still a very solid placement.....cool running and looks cool sitting on top of a flat black storage box with brass handles about 14" off the floor. This stack is about 4 feet away with a nice bundled set of black Blue-Jeans cable over a polished hardwood floor connecting it to my Rotel 1068 stacked on a tuner and DVD player sitting on top of a very nice varnished mahogany small table top with glossy black Queen-Anne style legs. MUCH nicer looking than a simple rack. A real highlight in my living room with black Rotel components and varnished wood.....and inexpensive, too.
UFObuster, an audio gourmand....some is good, more is better, and too much is just about right.

          Hello,

I got the RMB-1075 on top of a RB-1080 for around 10 months and no problems. 1075 is for mains and surrounds (NS-1000), 1080 is for 2 Pearless XXLS 12 subs.

But I like the way UFObuster add some spacers between the components.

            Stacking Rotel 1090
            by garethk
            I have a Rotel RB 1090, RMB 1075 and RSP 1066.
WIll stacking these one on top of the other cause any damage to the 1090 on the botton?

I read the User Guides, but they dont mention anything.

With the large feet under the 1075, it seems like there is enough space...

            Stacking 703s on 750s?
            by beden1
I am thinking of adding another subwoofer to my system that is in a large room 32' X 18' with 24' ceilings (excellent acoustics). I run a Pioneer Elite 82 receiver (130 watts X 7 channels), a pair of 703s (bi-amped fronts), an HTM7 center, and an ASW750 subwoofer.

            The wall where I have...

            Stacking Rotel equipment
            by NicholasT
Has anyone stacked a Rotel CDP directly on top of a Rotel amp? I ask because I just dropped over $200 on some Cardas interconnects at 0.5 meters and they barely reach between my RCD-1072 and RA-1062 because of my rack. I am probably going to end up exchanging the interconnects for a larger size but...

any harm in stacking rotel amps?
            by BlazeMaster
Is there any harm in stacking 2 rotel amps on top of each other? I'm thinking about getting the 1080 and already have the 1075. Due to rack space limits I will be forced to stack them on top of each other. They are both the same weight, with the 1075 a little taller of a chasis, is there any potential...

            Stacking RSP-1098 & RDV-1050 OR......
            by Woo Wooooo
You guys see any problem stacking the 1050 DVD on top of the RSP-1098.
Does the 1098 generate enough heat to hurt the DVD over time. :M My enclosure is fan cooled.... : Option 2 I can stack the 2 amps the RMB-1075 and the RB-1070 on top of it. what is the lesser of the two evils ...
