    Club changes

    Gentlemen and Lady(s):

    As you can see, there is a mix of older posts here in this new area that could be thought of as the old club archives, if you go back in time. BK, Outlaw, Theta, Tag. For the time being, I made the decision that the forum would be better served by less clubs, to encourage activity to other areas and to maintain focus. I am sorry if anyone is disappointed by the move, but it seemed to be the concensus on the forum that this would be best for htg.

    Anyway, feel free to carry on your prior club discussions here, and further, this encourages more comparisons, and cross-help.

      Lex it is great to see how flexible you are in managing htg. I think these changes will be good for the guide.

          Thanks Mark, for your vote of approval!

          The clubs were a great idea at first, and they saw a lot of activity. But few have had the "staying power", necessary to remain separate sections. Sad but true.

                  Because I am man enough to admit when I am wrong, I have revived Club Theta and Club Proceed. I know of at least 1 person that wasn't happy about Club Theta vanishing previously, and perhaps there were more. In a frinzy, I guess I just didn't think that through to well.

                  Guys, a request for a Club Denon, combined with the limited activity of most of the clubs is causing me to rethink whether we should continue with the clubs we have, and add more potentially, such as the Club Denon.

                  Or whether we should do away with the brand specific clubs, and narrow...

First person for a "group" post here saying which group they are interested in, then start discussion of it with a NEW THREAD in this forum, not here in this thread.                   For a while, Buzz Goddard kept things interesting in Club Tag McClaren. But I haven't seen Buzz in a long time, and not even sure he's still with Tag. Club Tag is effectively dead.
