    RVE 1060 not upgradeable to 1080p

    For those interested, Rotel South Africa (having contacted Rotel Europe) advised me today that "the RVE1060 and RSX1058 do not share the same chipset. The RVE1060 chipset is not capable of 1080p therefore no software revision will add 1080p functionality".

      Disappointing news. Mind you, at the current A$ prices of true 1080p screens not a feature I will miss for quite some time!
