    Rotel 1050 Learning Remote Reset

I know that you can reset the remote to factory default. But does this apply for all of the inputs at once or can it be input specific?

I would like to only reset it for Video 3.

    Thanks in advance.

The PRELOAD button retores the remote to full factory specs, every input. You can use the CLEAR command to clear all functions under only one input (and it restores those factory functions when cleared)

    Clearing Stored Commands
The CLEAR button erases learned commands from a single
button, all of the commands under a particular DEVICE
    button, or a MACRO sequence.
    1. Press the recessed CLEAR button with the point of a
ball point pen. A “CLEAR?” prompt appears.
    2. Press a COMMAND button to clear a single command.
Press a DEVICE/INPUT button for less than one second
to clear the device selection code. Press and hold
a DEVICE/INPUT button to clear the input source selection
code. Press the MACRO button and then the
button where the macro is stored to erase a MACRO
sequence. A confirmation “OK!” appears in the display.

NOTE: When a learned command is cleared from a
DEVICE/INPUT button the factory original command code
    is restored.

The RR-1050 automatically leaves the CLEAR mode if no
button is pressed for 15 seconds. Manually exit by pressing
    the CLEAR button again.

        RT-1080 tuner + 1068 remote (RR-1050)
        by Glenn
Just curious if anyone else has experienced the same glitch as I have with the RT-1080 tuner + 1068 remote (RR-1050). I don't suspect there is any fix for it, but doesn't hurt to ask.

I blank out the display of the RT-1080 tuner by holding down the "display" button on the tuner...

Hello guys, it's been a long time since I posted. I got a Remote Control problem. The RR-1050 remote does not want to work, it gives a "waiting" msg at the right hand bottom of the lcd screen. Already change the battery and give it a reset by pressing the reset button using a pin, but nothing...

I'm about to purchase the RMB-1075/RSP-1066 combo to drive my B&W CDM NT speakers (thanks to all of you for all your posts that convinced me I'm doing the right thing). I read in one of the posts that the RSP-1066 is now shipping with a new remote (RR-1050 replacing RR-969). My dealer said he has...
