...anyone ever put the two together? My folks have a pair of MG-12 magneplanars and I'm curious to hear how they'd play with my RB-1070/RC-1070 setup. Are Rotel amps too driven for Maggies, or is the added power better for control? Two companies with very different audio philosophies, granted, but that's what intrigues me to try it out. Locally, Rotel and Magnepan are carried by separate dealers, so it is difficult for me to gain advice about mixing the two.
