RDV-1092 vs RCD-1072 reading CD's

Any of you had compared the 1072 against the 1092 reading red book CD's?

I have a good opportunity to buy a used 1072, but if differences are not substantial, I prefer to keep just one unit instead of two.

I would appreciate your comments.

I have not done a side by side comparison, but from memory they are very close. The RCD-1072 may be a little bit better, but not much.
