    RSX 1055 Voltage change (Help)

    Hello
    I own a RSX 1055.
I have to move back to France ( everything has an end..)

I have been told that the Rsx 1055 can be easily modified by switching some jumpers located in the left end corner (chassis opened)

I found the jumpers. There are three of them, two with the label 115 V with a strap in, and one in the middle without strap and labeled 230V.
    ( see picture attached)
Is there anyone aware about this change?

Do I have just to remove the two jumpers labeled 115V and plug the jumper 220V?

Thank you very much for your help

I would contact Rotel Europe if you haven't. But they will probably tell you to bring it in.

      Yes Kevin,
I have emailed my question to Rotel Europe. I do not know whether they will answer or not, but betting on the reputation of Rotel I hope so.

I follow the Club Rotel forum for months now and noticed several european subscribers.
This might be my chance. One of them may have an idea about the voltage "jumpers thing", or might have opened already their 1055 chassis and remembered the jumpers position...

      I crossed my fingers..
      Thank you
      Hugues

I sent you a PM earlier today in case you didn't see it. Hit the 'private messages' link on the upper right of the page.

I missed your message by couple of weeks. I had 3 pages of instructions directly from Rotel Europe. But I threw them away, 'cause I sold the RSX1055 12 months ago...

Hi all of you RSX 1055 and RSX 1056 owners,

i have an interesting problem, for that I cannot find a thread in the forum. I was sure I read something about this, but I'm not quite sure.

            Bi-amping with RSX-1055 and RMB-1075
            by 4_everyman
I want to use an RMB-1075 in a bi-amp configuration to drive my center front and center back speakers. The speakers are Polk CSi40s and they have two sets of terminals, so they are bi-amp/bi-wire capable. My receiver is an RSX-1055.

The RSX-1055 has two center channel pre-amp outputs...

            by srinathalapati
            Folks,

I own a RSX-1055 and I am planning to buy an amplifier (Audio Source AMP100) to power outdoor speakers. I was reading the RSX-1055 manual about zone 2 operation and it confused me a bit. I am looking for some clarification from the experts here. On page 25 in the manual it says:...

Hi, I'm a first time visitor to Club Rotel and relatively new to Home Theatre. I've put some speakers aside (Monitor Audio Silver 8i's & 10i centre) and I was looking at buying the Marantz SR7200 AV Receiver. Then I heard it was being upgraded to SR7300 (6x110wpc into 8ohms all channels driven,...

RSX-1055 vs stereo amplifier for music
            by pbone
I am very much a beginner here although I have had a Rotel 931Mk2 for several years. Two things have happened- one is that the Rotel has gone to another home and the other is that I have finally decided to get into home theatre, although 90% of my system use will still be music- the RSX -1055 seems...
