so the rsx-1057 would be a great match for the rmb-1075 if i ever wanted a bit more power.
why buy the rsp-1068 if there the same? the receiver is a tuner as well.Last edited by boxer82003; 08 October 2006, 12:35 Sunday.Main Linn Ninka

1057 is the only way to go right now -
the tuner is a nice feature, hdmi is nice, you can reassign 2 channels on the 1057 to act as your 6th and 7th surround channel - so you can enjoy 7 channel surround in conjunction with the 1075.
Add to that, since it's a full blown reciever - so there's more uses for it down the road if you upgrade to a separate preamp.
I have a 1056 (the predecessor) hooked to a 1075 and I love the combination (I often forget it's a reciever since the amp kick on when I turn it on)- Bottom

by duganI was wondering if the 1056 used the same type of transformers as the 1067? It costs quite a bit less and I was wondering what the differences where besides the 25 watts and 7.1 capabilities.
Thanks,
Dugan-

by bullitt731I was planning on using an RSX1057 as a processor with an RMB1077 hooked up to a pair of B&W 804s and a HTM3s. Orignally I thought I would biamp and biwire the L and R fronts using 4 channels of the RMB1077 while using the remaining 3 channels to drive the center and back surrounds.

by srusmantijoHi folks,
I'm looking to replace my Denon AVR 3300, which starts giving me intermittent audio problems. I have B&W Nautilus 804 and HTM2, rated at 50-200W. I have seriously considered a Rotel 1057 until I auditioned an Arcam AVR250. 8O
I have auditioned both Rotel...-

by fordsterHi folks, this is my first post on this forum. Just a quick question on how good the DACs are on a Rotel RSX-1056. Could they be used instead of the DAC on a DVD or CD player. The reason I ask is that I don't haev room for an AV and HiFi set up in the same room but music quality is important to me....-

by fvoellingI recently switched to Comcast cable and tried to watch some NFL playoff games in HD on my projector. The Motorola cable box is connected via component to the 1056, which in turn is connected via component-to-RGA to the projector. I had watched a few HD movies that way before and everything worked fine....-
