I just got a Rotel 1057 receiver in a trade. It is unused in its original opened box. I think it is way more receiver than I will ever use or need. I am thinking of reselling it and was wondering what it would sell for? I searched the web and ebay and did not find any that were resold. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
Value of Rotel 1057?

It's a new model, but I'll bet a good majority of folks can get 10% off the MSRP w/out much trouble. Given the risk premium of buying something not from the dealer directly, I'd guess you'd have to be around 25% off of MSRP (at least for this cheapskate).- Bottom

that's ridiculous, it Rotel, it's worth $2.00 easy, twice as much than what you said, being a moderator and dealer i would think you could have a better idea on values, plus it has original box, so it could even go $2.25
:-)

Actually I did that because I believe it's stolen (at best a nefarious situation)

Just checked with my dealer and I can get a brand new one for $1100 Canadian. I normally get 20% off and occassionally a little more. The HDMI is almost useless depending on the components you wish to connect with and the cables you are using. HDMI 1.1 has a ton of issues, so I would not consider it a "plus".Originally posted by dekeIt's a new model, but I'll bet a good majority of folks can get 10% off the MSRP w/out much trouble. Before anyone posts it, yes I have...-

by ICEMAN70Hi guy's
Just got the RSX 1057 on Saturday. Had a chance to play around with it all day today. Well first off, the 1057 replaced my 3 year old RSP 1066 as a Pre/pro. I have the RSX 1057 hooked up to my RMB 1075. I just have the front 2 channels running out of the 1075 and have the center...-
