Using triggers on new 1080's ?

I'm waiting for new gear to arrive:
    Rotel RC-1070
    RT-1080
    2x RB-1080's
    B&W 803S's
I'm I safe using the triggers on new gear?
Or should I play safe and not bother?

      1090 out of production.
      I prefer biamping.

Triggers are fine on new RB-1080s

Though the standby power consumption is quite low and I like the sound of mine "warmed up" so I used to just leave it on (they are dead quiet!)

I know this question has been asked somewhere here but I don't remember finding the answer.

How do you know if the 1080 you have already has the trigger-fuse issue fixed?

Well, in short, you dont since I had mine "fixed" and it still lost a channel a few weeks later. Fuse replaced and no probs thus far ... so who knows !

Will you be using external crossovers when biamping? Will be curious of your outcome if you don't mind sharing with other members.

Well I picked some of the gear up today.
I've got 1 amp at this time.
Seems a fork lift stabbed the other , replacement is on order.
For now I'm going to use passive bi amping.
I did it with some NAD gear and B&W 603S3's with very good results.
