Digital Amps - more/other models??
I did a quick search on this topic and couldn't find any info. What are Rotel's plans for other models of digital amps? It seems that they would have to fill in the line-up with something between the RMB-1077 and the RB-1091/2. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. Resperc

Why? Mono block (1091), 2 ch (1092)& 7 ch (1077) covers the spectrum. Are you asking for different power output in, lets say, 2 channel? -
Exactly...Maybe a couple of different amps with 200-250 watts into 8 ohms. Just curious. RespercComment

I want one in this catagory in 5-7 channels! Or even better in 500 wpc!

As it looks like Rotel has made a major shift to digital amps in current and forth coming models. I wonder if everyone agrees with this format. I have been waiting for the new pre pros and amps to come out, but I am not sure digital is the way to go.

Does anyone know if the Digital amps have balanced XLR inputs? I notice the 1077 does not, but haven't seen the stereo or mono models... -
Read a rumor on another forum the other day that Rotel is discontinuing the RMB-1095 and RMB-1075. (Coincidentally, my dealer has all of their Rotel demo amps--including two-channel models--on sale at the moment.) Stopped in at my dealer for something else today, and asked if the rumor is true.
