I have an opportunity for a good deal on a Rotel 1055 receiver. I use Martin Logan Aerius i, Cinema and Scenario speakers in a five channel setup. Anyone with experience with ML and Rotel? How is sound quality and power with these speakers? Thanks. PS I have posted this question on the ML Club site.

Welcome Steve
I'm not familiar with Martin Logans personally, though I've read they're quite nice but I've also read they require a fair bit of juice. As such you may find you'll need more power but you can simply add an external amp if you find the juice lacking.

In a perfect world I would go separates but the money is not there now. I would like to know how this receiver sounds with the ML speakers. If I need more power I can always add an amp later. I am interested in the timber of the combo. The local Rotel dealer is not one I have patronized in the past so I doubt he will give me a home trial. Given the time it takes to do a home trial, I was hoping someone would have some experience with this combo.- Bottom

Perhaps you can explain what you mean by this statement :?: The worst thing you can say about electronics IMO is that they are not neutral since that then requires the user to "color match" speakers, source etc to the electronics in order to get something resembling good sound. A more detailed explanation would prove helpful to me.Originally posted by ScarpMartin Logans don't need a lot of power, however ML is known for its neutral sound and Rotel isn't very neutral.- Bottom

by tboooeHi, so I am in the market for some new floorstanders as an upgrade to my recently sold 805S. I have already budgeted money for either the 804S or 803S. While auditioning both I also listened to some other speakers, just to make sure I truly wanted to stay with B&W. Of course there are many other...-

I have been reading online about the SVS PB12-NSD. It looks like a fantastic deal for the price and am just wondering how it compares to something like a Martin Logan Grotto or Martin Logan Depth, as I have heard the Martin Logans and like them. I listened to the B&W 610xp since it has good reviews...-

Did anyone out there experienced Rotel separates RSP1068 and RMB1075 with Martin Logan speakers. How are they sound ? is it better or worst than the B&W. I am like to prefer speaker with tight bass and very clear high frequency. The martin Logan speaker I am looking for is the Aeon...-

by theMaximusI currently have KEF PSW-2500 subwoofer complementing B&W 704 and HTM7. I am looking for a new subwoofer. I'm considering Martin Logan Dynamo and was wondering if anyone had any experience with that sub. I'm not looking for a sub that shakes the whole house, but what I am looking for is a sub...-

by sugarmediaHey Gang,
Would like to hear some personal opinions from anyone out there that has owned a pair of ML speakers, specifically the Aeon.
I am in a toss up on whether to get the "ML Aeon i" or the B&W 703 Series. It seems that if you like more rock or pop music,...-
