Energy RVSS surrounds with Rotel RSX-1055 ??

I'm wondering if the RSX-1055 can hold a 6ohms impedance for the surrounds speakers ?

I don't understand all the ohms theory, but I'm just wondering if it's OK to drive 6ohms/86db eficiency surrounds speakers with RSX-1055?

The RVSS from energy are dipole configuration HP and have a 6ohms load and are "86db @ 1m/2.83v input"

anie clue if it's dangerous for the Receiver ?

Hi Freak,

I drive 4 IQ System 300T and 1 System 100T, which all are real 4 Ohm Speakers and I never had any problem.

All tests I read about the RSX 1055 said, that the Receiver is fully 4 Ohm stable, my experiences are the same.

So, don't Panic.
