Does anyone know if the volume knob on the 1068 is supposed to be illuminated? I noticed that there is a blue ring around the knob and thought maybe it was supposed to light up?

So then, why the blue ring? Its not really noticeable unless up close to the unit.
Would have been sweet if it was illuminated.

Some pretty funny observations regarding the blue light. As there always is in this club regarding every & all topics. That's why I love it, apart from it being a good source of info on Rotel.
But seriously...why the blue ring if it doesnt light up?

I've owned my 1068 processor for a couple of years now and never had any problems until recently. All of a sudden, the volume knob has a mind of its own. When I go to turn it, it will suddenly jump from 58 down to 35 or even all the way to max! It doesn't matter if I turn it up or down, I never know... -
I've had my 1068 for a few months now and all of a sudden my volume is going crazy. It keeps jumping up really high even after I take my finger off the volume button and the same going down. I know the update made the volume go a lot faster, and I am used to that change.... that's not whats happening....
