Is it possible too increase the output level.
When i play some music DVDs in 2ch stereo mode, i must turn the volume to MAX and then its still not loud enough.
When i play the same in DTS downmix, its loud at vol level 75/80.

You could have low gain on your amps or highly ineffecient speakers, but I suspoect you have something wrong in your setup. You should never begin to approach MAX, much less need to go past it.

Let us know your setup and any speaker and level settings in the 1068.

Something funky is going on. Is the 2ch stereo coming across analog or digital audio cables from the DVD player? If they're analog, the problem may be in the DVD player, not the 1068.
