RSP-1098 Firmware upgrade

I apologize for putting you on the spot, but is there any word from Rotel on when they will be releasing the Firmware upgrade for the 1098.

It seems that there is a 1.5 beta version based on a previous post.

To the best of my knolwedge they're still testing the beta firmware...there's now a fairly long list of things they'd like to address before sending it out...at least that's my impression.

I have also been bugging Tim on a weekly basis. They are diligently trying to solve the issues we have. I just emailed him again today, and may likely call him tomorrow again. If I get any new info tomorrow I will let ya'll know.

I heard today they're still trying to resolve the issues and are reluctant to send out a file that may or may not work 100 percent. Please don't bother Tim Kris as I know he's swamped as it is and as soon as its released you guys will be the first to know...I promise

I use the term bugging in the looses sense of the word. Wednesday was the first email I sent him in a while, and he did actually ask me to give him a call to discuss the issue further, but I just haven't had the time recently. So no worries, I am keeping the pestering to a bare minimum.
