RB 1070 V's RB 991 Which one best?

Hi guys ! with the oppourtunity to buy either the RB 1070 or the RB 991 for approx $600-$700 Aus (used), I was wondering which one would be best.

The RB 1070 is the current model at 2 x 130 watt.
The RB 991 is about 3 years old and is 2 x 200 watt.

Hopefully you guys can give some guidance here.

My speakers are 89-90 db and 120 watt @ 8 ohm

Also does anyone know what difference there is between the RB991 and the RB 1080, soundwise and build wise ? and if the 991 suffered any quirks such as those being encountered by some with the 1080

    thanks

    Bleeding Ears,

The RB-991 is a excellent amp - sonically very similar to the RB-1080... My Money would be on that..

i wouldn't spend that much on a used rb1070 considering its rrp brand new is $899 in aus, so with some bargaining you can get it for the same price as the used one
