Anyone heard anything new about the RVE-1070

Apparently is scheduled for end of the year or early next year. But thats about all I have heard at the moment...

Yes, HDMI. I believe it's on hold for a bit as they want to makes sure the newest HDMI spec is included (1.2 I think?)..

I'll know more at CES in two weeks.

RVE 1070 will be a lot more than an HDMI "switching box"

That's like calling a surround sound processor a "sound box"

any thoughts on the price maybe? and what i have heard so far is that it only has 1 hdmi out, which would be stupid if you ask me...

and yes i know a hdmi dvd player is coming up but rumours say it will be 1800$ or something like that...

well guess i have to wait a little longer

So he wasn't refering to the DVD player as a video switch box....but that there will be an additional separates switching box.... and I've heard this from my local dealer as well.
