    RSP-1098 Hook-Up ?

I am going to add a CD Player to my system to upgrade my redbook cd listening pleasure(s) to go with my Denon DVD-2900. The Denon is currently hooked up to the analog multi-channel inputs. If I hook up the CD Player to the analog cd player inputs and utilize the Bypass mode will all digital processing be entirely bypassed giving me pure analog stereo?

I have demoed a number of players including a Musical Fidelity A5, Krell SACD Standard, Linn Genki and Shanling CDT100. I love the Krell, but its' price is steep. The MFA5 sounds fabulous. The Linn can be picked up for a real good price as it is a demo. I still need to demo some of the Arcam choices.

To answer your original question, yes. That is how I run my Shanling T100. I too have a Denon 2900 eating up the multi-channel inputs. The T100 sounds fabulous utilizing it's tube analog mode through the 1098 bypass, IMHO.

          Hi, audio buffs.

I use a two-channel Linn integrated amp for my stereo audio needs. I'm moving towards satellite TV and some kind of 42" or 50" TV. I'm also going to replace my Denon 3300 DVD player because that's all it will play - it won't even play a burnt CD. If I decide...

My sig has my current equipments. Recently my friend brought his Linn Genki cd player over, and I was amazed with the sound quality. My denon produces 80% of that sound when playing SACDs and 60% of that sound (imho ofcourse) when playing cds. Living in a small nyc apt, I really don't want a dedicated...

C2 7.1 hookup with samsung BD player
          by art
Since C1/C2 does not support sound via HDMI connection, the closet hookup that will allow us to utilize the new loss-less format is via a 7.1 ch analog connection. To take advantage of the new sound format, I bought a Samsung BD C6500 which has a 7.1 ch analog output to use with my Parasound C2....

I like to share some of recent experience with my new 3D TV setup with my current Rotel RSP1098/RMB1095 setup. I am hoping this information is useful for anyone with the same configuration out there that are interested to take the 3D plunge.

          CD Player requires breakin?
          by akhter
Or am I just imagining things (quite possible).

Last week I got an Arcam CD73T after comparing it with the Arcam CD192/Linn Genki/Naim CD5x, and found the entry-level arcam to be the best value by a long-shot. All the other players were similarly priced ($1700-1900), and the Arcam gave...
