    Just bought a used RCD-991...

Hi I just concluded a deal on a used RCD-991...I will have it on Friday!!

is is a good CD player? (I know it's good, since I owned few Rotel products and herd few CD players too...but nevet a flagship!)

    Any comments?

It will be paired with a RA972 (also used)

I don't know for speakers yet!...I was looking for some B&W, but therse are quite hard to find...

I might be able to get some Totem Mite (I have heard the Dreamcatcher)

    Also for some JMlab Cobalt..??

    any coments?

I've often heard it called the best cd player Rotel ever made...topping even their latest models.

          -Rotel RC-1070 preamp
          -Rotel RB-1080 power amp

          RMB-1095 or RB-1080 + RB-1070
          by kinjite
          Hi,

This is my first post on the Rotel forum. Great forum btw!

I am considering a RMB-1095 or a combination of a RB-1080 for my front JMLab Cobalt 820 speakers, a RB-1070 for my Cobalt 806 surrounds and a RB-1070 for my Cobalt CC800 center speaker, with one channel left...

          Sounds like fun project eh?

Ok, here's the background: I'm most of the way through an electrical engineering degree, love design work and am getting to love the smell of hot solder. I have what I consider to be a very nice stereo (CD player/Pre/Power : Rotel RCD-1072/RC-1070/RB-1080,...

Hi guys, it's that time of the financial cycle again. A little spare cash... the upgrade bug beginning to bight. My core system includes an RCD-1072, an RC-1070, an RB-1080 and a pair of JM Lab Cobalt 826S speakers.

I have been reading some good press about Musical Fidelity's new X-series...
