    RCD-1070 vs RCD-1072?

What is the difference between these two CD players? If you go to the Rotel website and tell them you are in the US you see the RCD-1072 ande if you tell the website you are not in the US you see the RCD-1070.

    What gives?

Are these actually the same unit with different names for different parts of the world? Or is there a real difference? If there is a difference, why has Rotel done this?

Rotel must not have updated the site that shows the RCD-1070. The RCD-1072 is the replacement model for the RCD-1070. The 1072 has decreased jitter along with several other 'upgrades'. Although I love my RCD-1070, the 1072 is reported to be better.
