I have a 7.1 system but it seems that the 1098 doesn't want to send any sound to my center rear left & right speakers. All 7 channels of my amps are fine. In the setup of the 1098 I have indicated I have 2 small center rear speakers. I have all other speakers set to small as well. When I play the system test tones I get the normal static tone in both of the center rears indicating that they are receiving information. When I play 7 -channel music, no sound in the rears. Dolby Digital EX or Dolby Digital + XS or DTS ES or DTS + XS - nothing in the center rears. Any suggestions? I have tried adjusting the input level in the center rears to max, still no sound.

Hello. I just got my RSP-1098. Firmware is version 3.1 (I guess the 2 week wait was worth it... seems as if I ended up with the most recent version). I just got my Classe CAM-200 for the center channel yesterday.

I am finally moving from 5.1 to 7.1. Does prologic IIx work with DTS? I read the C2 manual and it seems to work with DTS except DTS-ES? DTS-ES will work with THX Ultra Cinema (5.1 to 7.1) but I need to figure out the placement of my rears and dolby and thx placement is quite different. I am leanind... -
