Question on channel level on RC-1070? how?

    Hi,
I was wondering whether stereo pre-amp has channel level adjustment like multi channel A/V? In case of RC-1070, i guess it does not have that. Is channellevel output from L and R always the same? I mean there is no need for using SPL meter to measure it?

Also, RC-1070 does not have Balance control. Does it mean than output from L to R is always balanced?

    Thank you.

No, there's no balance or level setting for the left and right channels. I've certainly never measured the output, but I do alot of listening and all is well. The simplicity of the thing is why I bought it. Sounds much better when the contour controls aren't being used, too.

HELP NEEDED: A21-left output louder than right
      by tboooe
Well I thought I finally got it figured out. But it seems my issue with the left channel output being louder than the right is not a warm up issue and is being caused by something else. Has anyone got any ideas?

Here is a summary of my problem:
The left channel output is frequently...

      RB-985MKII bias level?
      by outlander
      Hello,
I’ve noticed that when I place my hands on top of my RB-985MKII, the left side of the amp is warmer than the right side. This happens both in 2 channel and 5 channel applications. I suspect that the bias level of the output power transistors needs to be adjusted. Does anyone know...

      Problems using multi-channel connections
      by tombowlus
I recently picked up a Denon 5900 modded by Dan Wright, and while it sounds phenomenal in 2-channel, I am having difficulty using the multi-channel outputs into my RSP-1066. I get signal from L/R (and sub, using bass management), but nothing from the center or surround channels. I presumed that this...

      5 & 7 Channel Stereo RSP -1066 Sub Setup
      by Stevebez
I have been enjoying listening to music over 5 channel stereo. I know its a sin to audiophiles, but hey I like being surrounded by the music and getting equal power in all corners.

The problem I have is in 5/7 Chnl Stereo the LFE channel is really weak. I have small speaker setup all...
