I was just called by my dealer and will be getting a new rsx1056 to replace my current one.I previously had mentioned that i did'nt have any issues concerning "hiss" or "crackling" like others have had.Yesterday i listened real closely and i do have the "crackling".I called my dealer and rotel yesterday as soon as i heard it and now its on the way.My dealer was'nt even aware of the "chip"problem until rotel told them on my behalf.I think "rotel" is great in this type of service as well as my dealer.Just hope it will come with the latest "firmware version" being that it will be a new peice.Needless to say i'm a happy camper.
