Did my rotel upscaler go B+W or is it a cable?

    Hi -

If I lost color from my rotel's video conversion circuit, from an S-video source, and it came back after a few minutes, would anyone know what could cause this?

At first I thought the rotel was acting funny, but since the source was going into the rotel via S-Video - could a bad / loose pin on the s-video cable cause the same thing? ( A black and white picture )

S-video is funny that way I find. I often get a B&W image on my TV if I do work on my gear rack as the cable gets nudged a bit and voila a B&W image on the TV

Hello all, well, I have went off the deep end, officially... I just started a new cable based web site called:

      http://www.cablesynergy.com

The name is fairly self evident, but there's more to it than that. There's also a DIY "getting started" for making cables,...
