    RB 1080 and balanced inputs?

    Hi Everybody

RB 1080 is an excellent amplifier and I am proud owner (plus RSP 1066 and
RMB 1075). It has balanced inputs and I wonder if somebody use them.
And of course the question is:

Does it sound much better with balanced connections?

It also has Input Selector Switch and I have to admit that initially
I listened to this amplifier using unbalanced connections with
switch in the balanced position. Well, it was nice surprise when
    I finally figured this out

    best

Rotel's balanced outputs/inputs are not true "balanced" circuits. They are converted back to unbalanced inside the amp and/or pre-amp. This only adds circuitry to the signal path. Unless you have a long run of cable, save the money and buy unbalanced(RCA) cables.
:B It's all about the MUSIC!!!
