Hello, I need some help/advice. I was listening to the radio on my RX-1050 when the sound just stopped. At first I thought I may have blown a breaker but alas, the receiver and components were still on. I tried the CD player, the receiver….nothing. I have turned it on and off, unplugged it, etc. The only sound I am getting is through my sub. I even tried plugging in the head phones and tried the receiver and cd player and got no sound that way either. I thought it might be a bad input or output situation but when I tried the headphones and they did not work I was stumped. Any advice on this is greatly appreciated. It sucks to have a nice sound system in my house and be forced to listen to tunes through my computer. Thanks in advance!

I'll give it a try. If that doesn't work, my dealer said as it it is still under waranty, he will switch it out for another one for me..Originally posted by ZX 6RIf you have your sub hooked up to the pre-out you may want to unhook it and put back in the original bridging pins just to error check that aspect of the system. If you haven't done it that way I am at a loss as to what to tell you.- Bottom

I am about to buy all the components for my media room with a 5.1 set-up. My wish list below reflects my general budget. My focus is on the receiver but other observations or comments on the other components are appreciated.

by audioquesoIs there any receiver that is transparent for stereo?
In the past I have owned multiple AV receiver. Onkyo, Rotel, Marantz.
I sold my last AV received back in 2013. At that time, I was running a Marantz Pre-Amp (not an AV receiver) with Emotiva 5-channel amp.
