This is no April Fools Joke folks. During the next couple of days, we will be picking a day to migrate HTGuide to a new server. We will have the same reliable service we have always had, as we are not changing Hosting Services, only moving to a new updated state of the art server! Support is working to coordinate things right now.
We will announce the date of migration from old server to the new server in due time. We hope to minimize downtime while the DNS propagates to our new IP address, and service is restored. But some downtime is inevitable.

I am a 50% music and 50% movie person with my system and in need of a prepro. For 2 channel music, how is the RSP1068? Not really into buying two preamps.

I demo'ed one and if I could have purchased it for $1500 usd I would now own it instead of the RSX-1055/RC-1070 (2 pre) combo. I found it to deal with 2 channel quite well :T
Some pre/pros that are highly regarded for the quality of their presentation on HT surround modes (DTS, DD 5.1, et al) are not considered truly appropriate for "audiophile" two channel music playback, especially those lacking an analog pass-through. Others have DACs that are easily surpassed...
I am looking for a great sounding preamp to go with a Parasound A51. Just care about 2-channel as I have a receiver for everything else. Anyone have any experience with Bel Canto Design PRe2? any other ideas?
I don't feel the P-3 would be a big enough upgrade. Price...
