A year ago, I was fortunate to get a 1095 on display for a really good price. However, it came with the solid colored binding posts instead of the clear. Does anyone know if there is a sound difference between the solid and clear?

A believe the clear make a better connection on certain types of speaker leads and possibly allow more types of leads.. It's very doubtful that it would make any substantial difference. I know I couldn't tell a difference between my previous 1095 and my new one with the clear binders..

The only difference that I know of is that the newer units with the clear binding posts are slightly better from a ground loop stand point then the older units so unless you have that issue you shouldn't notice any difference.- Bottom

by RJS72Hi,
I'm a first-time Rotel buyer and am doing a demo of the 1067 at home right now. I'm trying to decide if I should go up to the separates instead. I can't wait to get all my stuff setup.
I have a couple 1075/1095 questions. Do they use the WBT style binding posts?...-

by PewterTAOkay, well yesterday I got myself a RMB-1095, I couldn't pass up the price on it and it fit into my budget.
I really had wanted the CineNova Grande 5, but I just couldn't justify the extra money for it, nor could I have lifted that thing by myself to get it into place! HOLY CRAP....-

by RolexWho makes really good binding posts that are not ridiculously expensive? I'm building a pair of stand mount speakers right now. I'm putting a lot of effort into the veneer, the finish, and the level of detail to get what I want. I've looked at numerous different binding posts before but none have...-
