BK, HK, Lex related?

how are b&k, harman, and Lexicon related?

I'm trying to find a pre/pro or good receiver to act as a pre/pro. BK50 has been recommended and I've been looking at the HK520, 525, 8000 for a while. I've also read good things about Logic7 on the Lex.

Harman International is the parent company of many lines, some of which are: Lexicon, Harman Kardon, JBL and now Mark Levinson products. B&K is not related. They are a company out of Buffalo, NY....

You will receive many opinions on many different products, BUT I will say this, you will be hard pressed to find a Pre/Pro and or receiver that will beat the B&K line (Ref50 & AVR507) in terms of sound, performance, and reliability regardless of price.

And, oh yea, that was another opinion :LOL: Welcome to the forum

Thanks Red, you got it. BK and Harman are only here together, because neither have received a lot of posts. If one or the other takes off in a big way, I will separate them, or one may go away.

I guess that doesn't make a lot of sense right off to folks, sorry.
