    RDC-7 and Lexicon MC-8

After about 6 months research I decide on the RDC-7 as a pre-pro and now Lexicon announces the MC-8! I guess I should wait to hear this one.

This hobby is frustrating as it is probably easier choosing a car to buy!

There is always going to be something "new". The dilemna is deciding whether it is really "better". If the MC-8 sounds as good as the MC-12 (especially for two channel music), which the reviewers seem to be doing cartwheels over, and pleases you in your own listening tests, and if it offers more of the features you need at a price competititve with the RDC-7, then obviously you'll want to give it serious consideration.

On the other hand, if it only sounds really great on surround sound movie tracks but leaves two channel music in the lurch in your own listening, (kind of like its lower priced cousins in the Lexicon line have in my listening), then you are back about where you started. (Before the MC-8, not six months ago.) :>)

Good luck, and let us know what you decide!
