    RDV-1 anyone?

    Does anyone have the RDV-1? I am considering this as my next purchase, to upgrade to Progressive Scan. I am also interested in upgrading my CD Transport/Player. I presently have a CAL Alpha DAC and Delta Transport. We have decided we like the DAC's in the RDC-7 over the Alpha, so a better transport or player is in order.

    Has anyone compaired the RDV-1 to any other CD player/transport? How is the cd sound from this unit? Should I be looking at a cheaper Progressive DVD player and a better CD player/transport?
    Any advice will be appreciated.

      RSP 1098 and progressive scan dvd/dvd audio players

      The RSP 1098 TFT screen displays no video unless a usable signal is passed through the composite video connection. However, as pointed out in the RSP 1098 manual not all dvd players, set in progressive mode, output a usable composite video signal. This is true also for dvd players that play dvd audio....
