Yes, Andrew, this is "the one"! And with the latest upgrade, it has taken us beyond "the matrix" to Neo 6 -- and DP II. :>) Of course, the feature list can only hint at how great it actually sounds...

Pretty sweet sounding piece. Does it come in black?

        No - no black option.

I don't love the look of the thing, but so far I have been very impressed with the performance.

You didn't list the one feature that pushed me towards the Integra: balanced XLR outputs for all channels. As I plan on using Genelec speakers in my screening room, the balanced outputs made this processor very atractive.

I have to add two additional elements that mattered to me: phono input AND AM/FM tuner. I know a lot of audiophiles could care less about these two items, but they mattered to me. I listen to the occasional opera broadcast, as well as Car Talk, which hardly justifies buying an expensive (or inexpensive, for that matter) standalone tuner. While I don't listen to LPs much anymore, I have a few that haven't been remastered to CD form. I'd hate not to be able to listen to them should I choose.

I've yet to hear my RDC-7, but expect to hook it up next week when my new speaker cables finally arrive.

I've now heard the beautiful sound image it sends to my amp and speakers. Our two local FM classical music stations have never sounded better. While my CDs sound much better through the new system, I need a new CD player - say, a new multi-channel SACD player for starters.
