Integra,, NOT my next choice....

Even though I think that my RDC7 is really good,
Even though I think that my DV1000e is really great,
Even though I think that my DVD969 was awsome,,

I really don't think I'll give this guys a chance again.


Actually,, after mailing integra a number of times,
I got a reply.

My 2 questions were;
1. When will the RDC7.1 be available in Europe ?
2. When, if ever, will there be a firewire upgrade for the RDC7 ?

Answers I got was;
1. Currently this is only sold in the US
2. As of right now there are no firmware updates available for this product
please check back our site for future updates. www.integraresearch.com.

Sure,, I really like to download a firmware upgrade that gives me firewire,
and this,, without hardware..!!:...

I give up...., they simply don't care.

Hi Emerson,

The RDC-7.1 is available in 230V 50Hz config from Singapore right now. AFAIK it is only available iwth a full complement of cards and is Pal/Ntsc compatible (The US model is likely Pal compliant too). I imported my RDC-7.1 from the US and it works well from a 3A 240-120V stepdown transformer. Back in November European headquarters (Germany) told me to expect a Euro release in May 05. I hope this helps.

Just wish that Integra themselves would give a damn...,,, that's my main issue.

Even though Im quite convinced that the rdc7.1 is great,,even better then the 7.0,
I wonder if it IS a safe bet to futher with these people,, and,, off course,, from a personal standpoint.. do I really want to give them more of my money..??....
