I was just browsing through the latest issue of Home Electronics last night, and there was a nice article about the C1 and how to ideally setup the 2 auxillary speakers and a tactile transducer. The writers said they experimented by themselves at first, but the results were muddy and horrible. Then they called Richard Schramm and he explained the perfect calibration for the auxillary channels (assuming they were used as somewhat overhead speakers, I think). I don't remember the exact settings, but it was something like using 100% of the front and surround back channels' information, 30% of the side surround's, and an 18 millisecond delay. Anyways, if anyone is interested it's explained thoroughly in the Home Electronics magazine.

Specifically, the sound of a low non-linear distortion speaker.
