Problem using headphones with the C2

I’ve had my C2 and A51 for about 2 weeks and the following is what I’ve experienced when using headphones:

Here’s what happens when the headphones are plugged into the C2 headphone jack - and I tested everything using 2 different sets of headphones with several DVD’s and CD’s and the following behavior was the same every time:

The only modes available when the headphones are plugged in are Stereo and Mono modes.

    1. When I select Mono mode, the right side goes dead and I can only hear sound out of the left ear.

    2. When I select Stereo mode, the overall sound from left to right is fairly balanced, but when watching a DVD the dialog is dominate on the left ear -- and when listening to a CD the voice is dominate on the left ear -- and when watching anything on DishTV the voice is dominate on the left ear.

So last week I called Parasound and they had me send the C2 to them for repair. I received it back today and they say they replaced the DSP board.

The only difference now is when in Mono mode I can now hear sound out of both ears. But in Stereo mode the dialog and voice is still dominate on the left ear – has anyone else experienced this ??? Is my C2 properly working ???

    Thanks for any feedback.

    Headphones, anyone?

As there doesn't seem to be any particular place to discuss headphones, I thought I'd open a thread here.

Just curious about what, if any, headphones (on-ear, over-ear, in-ear, other) people are using? How important? How often? With headphone amp? Or not? Best set(s) ever heard? End-game...

First off, nobody can deny the advantages of wireless...

    Rubber ear buds MATTER!!
    by madmac
    Hey all,

In ear headphones that have removable and interchangeable rubber ear buds are worth experimenting with! Why???.......Well.... awhile back, I got a pair of Sennheiser in ear headphones for my PDA as a gift and I was not so impressed with the sound when I tried them for music off...

    Headphones for Picky Audio/Video Afficienados

I'm considering buying a set of nice headphones I can use at home when needed, as well as take with me on my frequent travels to watch movies and listen to music on portables.

Due to this, features of folding up to be compact and noise-cancellation would be nice, so I could even use them...

    New Budget Headphones
    by ski_merlin
    Hey guys,

I finally killed my cheap-o Sony full-sized headphones, and I don't think I can deal with another pair of crappy headphones again. I'd play my music through my regular stereo, though living in an apartment with three other people doesn't really allow that often.
