NS, I sent you an email, I'm an owner here. We have to do something with your username, a brand name by itself is not allowed. As soon as you reply to me, I will delete this part of the thread.

I originally was planning on adding the T3 as well, but in the end just couldn't justify the cost to myself with the little tuner use I do use, especially since I already own an entry-level tuner. Perhaps in the future.

Check the reviews section of the Parasound Halo website for some reviews of the T3 tuner. Its supposed to be a fine tuner and if you already own Parasound Halo equipment its a good to have a same looking tuner.Originally posted by parasoundDoes anyone here own the T3 tuner? I've heard it is great, but I have yet to buy one. The Parasound website says that no Halo setup is complete without this fine tuner.- Bottom

tuner t3
I own one since end of march 2004. sure the looks are great (according to my taste) but most important it is very sensitive and is very natural sounding (analog?)at least with direct broadcast ;and hiss is commandly low. signal quality is nevertheless not quite as strong as a cd's.Note that this unit is a clone version of Magnum Dynalab 's own DT5 version. Weak point
rice especially if you don't have many transmitters in your area...

It may be taboo, but I just purchased a T3 and am awaiting it's arival to see how it mixes w/ Rotel. I sold my Carver TX-11, which I liked, and needed a new one. I could have gotten an RT-1080 (Rotel) for just under $500 new, and found a respectable deal on the Parasound (like new). It has gotten some good reviews, so I figure give it a whirl and see what it sounds like.- Bottom

Ditto, Soundhound, we haven't had much feedback on the T3 here in the Club, so post your thoughts. I still can't justify the T3 for me personally, as I really don't ever listen to the radio outside my car. And don't worry about mixing and matching, that may be "taboo" to some, but that's real life sometimes, and if you're happy in your quest for the best A/V peformance, more power to you!

Recieved my new T3 today, and am quite impressed. Heavy little bugger for a tuner. Back lighting of the buttons is a nice touch, soft....Set it in the rack, cabled it up, selected smooth jazz 100.3 out of the twin cities, and let her warm up a little. I am about 30 miles from most of the broadcast towers as the crow flies so signal strength isn't an issue. I sat in my favorite spot and listened for a while, and this thing is sonically engineered, no doubt. Full frequency response, presence and soundstage are very good. As far as the cd comparison I had read of, it's close. Depending on the cd, a Marvin Gaye tune came on and it sounded better thru the tuner than my copy on store bought cd does. Sonically it beats my old carver hands down, which wasn't bad for a tuner. The only dislike so far is having to manually select RDS, where as my old Rotel RSX-1055 tuner would automatically scroll the data. If I were a parasound addict I wouldn't hesitate to snap up a new one to match my system. I am a loyal Rotelian, but damn, I can understand you're attraction here. Bob- Bottom

by crytklmassI'm not a serious audiophile. But when I listen to music, I want to close my eyes and feel like im sitting right at the stage. for movies, I want a complete surround sound reality, nothing that sounds fake. I dont like high decible in your face music, when turned down your ears need to time to readjust.... -
by LexmanGuys, I have contemplated over the last week or two, how to handle usernames that honestly, don't make much sense, and aren't easy for people to call them by when responding to their posts.
My decision is this, it is now REQUIRED that either one of the two conditions exist with your username:...-
