Sounds great! The C2 is brand new, so still has to break in a bit. Also my interconnects aren't great, but they will be replaced soon by Kimber Hero XLR cables.

I had Rotel equipment before, with which I was happy too, but Parasound adds the extra edge that I needed. Much more and deeper bass and much more clarity and power. Better handling also.

I do hope for a nice multiplayer from Parasound for a reasonable price. That would make this set even more complete. Maybe for the not so near future I'm also contemplating getting the T3 tuner.

The choice for the C2 was easy compared to the C1. Lower price

Well, all I'll say for now is that Parasound making a universal DVD player is still a possibility. This is something they've had plans for in the past, and even though they're currently on hold, this may still be possible in the future.

No kidding? Cool... that's the first I've heard of that. Thanks for the scoop! I'm currently hoping to get one of Denon's high-end universal players, but if Parasound comes out with a new universal player, I might have to go with that instead. It would have to be universal, though.

Someone else was asking if there might be some sort of proprietary link between a future Parasound player and the C1/C2. Initial indications from Parasound is that this will NOT happen.

Very nice, guy! It's always interesting to me to see back-panel shots, if nothing else than just to see what kind of cables everyone's using and what type of connections. It looks like you're not using the C2 for any video switching--is that correct? (lots of people don't, especially if they're video purists or only have one or two types of video sources that they can connect directly to their display)

                  Thanks!

Hmm... i recall answering the same question about another set that I posted here

Anyway... yes, no doing video switching on the C2. The simple reason is that I use an RGB signal through a Scart cable. Also my TV has several scart inputs and it has enough to satisfy all my video inputs.

So there is really no use for video switching on the C2.
