WOW $999 for a NEW (not refurb) unit at Audio Advisor!!!
What's really funny, is that they still show a REFURB unit for $1478.
Just shows what a good deal this is (and what a huge markup electronics has)...
If I didn't aleady have a Denon DVD-5910, I would probably get this if only so I'd have an all HALO HT system.
I think
1. Parasound is giving up on this unit
and
2. They better react more quickly with a BluRay unit or else not bother
and
3. I doubt you can get better unit NEW for less
I never heard enough comparisons to other units to form a strong opinion one way or the other and I bet this is just one of the reasons for lackluster sales (besides being so late to the market).
Once you guys buy these fire sale units, I hope you can offer opinions for BOTH audio and video performance.
