I am curious as to if anyone here has owned the current delta series amp & preamp. My three top pics for a preamp are the ps audio GCP-200, classe cp-500, or the jc-2. Any comments? I understand no one hear has probably heard the JC-2, but has anyone compared lets say the jc-1 to anyting from classe?

I had the CM400 monos and now I own the JC1's. Both are extrodinary amps. I personally feel the JC1 in high bias mode offers a slightly better sound stage and better defined bass. Depending on your system and room acoustics, it would be a tough call.

I have a JC2 preamp. Any news on when the John Curl designed phono pre-amp will be coming out?

Stereophile Magazine has a very positive review of the JC2 preamp in their March 2008 edition. John Akinson wrote the review, with much more commentary on the sound quality than Sam Tellig's earlier mini-review. Overall the JC2 gets an "Awsome!" :T
