    Problem with C2

Since yesterday I have a problem with the C2.

When I connect the power cable into the back of the C2 and turn the switch on, it makes a strange sound "sounds like fire sparks". The C2 will turn on, but the green lamp on the board turns off again.

There is no smell in the air that something is burning but it cant be good anyways, it will probably create to much heat and the connector could melt.

Any idea, what this could be?

Loose power connection inside (very likely) or a bad power supply.

If you're handy with electronics, you could open up the unit and reseat all the power connections to/from the switched PS.

Well I did, but that did not resolve the problem. But I got it fixed, I turned on de CD-Player and it was gone, maybe something went static. Thank god it was not the decoding board, that would have been expensive .
