    C2 Microphone Cable

    Hey Guys,

I seem to have misplaced my C2 Mic cable, I know its 3.5mm, is it a 2 conductor
mono or 3 conductor stereo cable?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Hi, Magoo, and welcome to the Guide and Club Parasound!

Uh, shoot, I don't know. I would imagine it's mono, though. Are you thinking of just picking up another microphone to use with it? What I'd recommend is that you call your Parasound rep (or Parasound direct) and ask what they recommend. You definitely wouldn't want to use a cheapie mic for the auto-cal purpose, and if you're going to spend the money to get a decent mic, Parasound might be able to get you a replacement mic for the same cost. I don't know. Now if you already have a nice mic like a Behringer model, then yeah, your Parasound rep could at least tell you what wiring might work with it.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

        Thanks Guys,

The Microphone I have is the one that came with the C2 Controller, Have never used it before and somehow lost the cable. I will just go pick up a 20' 3.5mm Male to Male mono on Monday.

Measurement Mic - Audyssey MultEQ microphone?
          by oneoldude
I have a couple Audyssey MultEQ microphones from a couple HT receiver purchases (see pics below). I never gave them a thought. Figured they were junk. But recently, I have read on the net that they are quite quite flat and quite consistent. Unfortunately all I have seen concerns use of the mic for...

Cable between UB802 and ECM8000 mic, SpeakerWS question
          by RavS
I'm trying to finally acquire all the gear I need to do my own measurements.
          Just had a few questions.

1)What kind of XLR cable do I need between UB802 and ECM8000? Is it just a standard low-z xlr microphone cable (xlr male to xlr female)? Or is it a xlr male to male cable? I...

          Measurement Mic on a Budget
          by JonMarsh
We have a number of inquires from time to time about what to use for measurement on a budget- most folks aren't in the market for an HP preamp and a Bruel & Kjar mic! And I wanted to have something inexpensive to carry around with my laptop, too.

After trying out a few different mic's...

Reflection free (or minimised) mic setup
          by Dave Bullet
I'd never really paid much attention to mic placement and the boom and clip that holds the microphone. When Andrew Jones suspected I had some mic related ripple in my response, I switched to a long pole boom in line with the microphone. Voila!, ripple greatly reduced. A small pointer for those who want...
