There's a new "FAQ" and a "cut sheet" on the Zhd. Answers some of the questions that have been popping up on the Zhd and HDMI in general. Specifically, we've been talking about the various HDMI versions. Here's what the FAQ says:
Still a little unclear how the Zhd can be "HDMI 1.3 compliant" if, as stated, "HDMI 1.3 has not yet been released by HDMI." I have a question in to Parasound to clarify.

Q: What are HDMI standards 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3?
A: The Parasound Zhd is compatible with all HDMI standards.
- HDMI 1.0 supports HD digital video and multi-channel audio over a single cable.
- HDMI 1.1 also supports high resolution DVD-Audio
- HDMI 1.2 also supports single bit digital audio formats, such as SACD (Super Audio CD) and DSD (Direct Stream Digital)
- HDMI 1.3 has not yet been released by HDMI. It will add support for high-bandwidth formats, including multi-channel uncompressed PCM, lossless Dolby TrueHD, lossy Dolby Digital Plus, and lossy and lossless forms of DTS HD, formerly known as DTS++ Lossless. HDMI 1.3 is primarily for future HD-DVD and Blu-Ray players, should they ever come to market.
