Interested in the NewClassic 5250

I stumbled on this terrific website by accident (from another web site). I am interested in upgrading to separates and the Parasound 5250 is at the top of my list because of reputation, sound quality, cool running (I have to place it in an AV rack), and power (to drive my Polk LSi speakers).

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate question or not, but what is a reasonable street price for the 5250, considering the MSRP is $2500. I have a 5.1 setup with no plans for a 7.1

I don't think I should reveal the price of what I paid but I will set you up with the individual who gave me a REALLY good deal on the 5250 and 7100. Look at just about any thread and look for Brent Huskins and send him an email. He has a new baby to work with so I don't think he is checking email very often but he will get back to you eventually. You will be happy with his response, trust me.
I must say that I have been thrilled with the 5250 and I am patiently waiting for the 2250 to come out for the remaining two channels of my HT especially after receiving a very nice email from Parasound about it. I think this is the third time I've recommended Brent.... maybe I should start asking for a cut????? Seriously though, you will love the 5250. Take care, Matt.
