    Replacing tweeter on B&W Matrix 801 S3

    Hi,

    I saw that on one of my loved 801 S3 the tweeter is damaged (no idea how that happened). I have ordered a new one which I should get soon.
    But: I don't know how to replace it. Search on the internet didn't help.

    So help is appreciated.

      Perhaps I should give myself an answer.

      In 2011 I advised some one in this forum to look here for replacing a tweeter:

      So I wil give it a try with this information. Should I have questions I will ask them here, when I succeed I wil tell it here, too.

          How does current 802D (not Diamond) compare to the Matrix 801? I can get Matrix 801 for half the price of 802D and I sure love the bigger woofer... Guess the sound will be bigger as well. However the newer B&W's must be more refined in every way? I currently only have McIntosh 6900 which I know...

          How do I get into the tweeter house?
