    B&W Matrix 802 series II

    Hi All, first post
    Does anyone know what type of dampening material is used in these speakers and is it easily replaceable? I ask because I auditioned a pair and really liked the sound however, the owner is a heavy cigar smoker and I can only imagine how unpleasant the speakers would smell like
    It`s most unfortunate as the speakers are immaculate otherwise.

      It's like a heavy rock wool I think. Oddly enough someone keeps putting some for sale on eBay every now and again for the matrix 800 series.
