I will hazard a guess and say the current range is midlife in its cycle.

The current series were released in 2010. I expect they will be around at least 5-6 years before a change. So 2-3 years before a revised model is available.

That's It, we should get an upgrade til 2015
Hopefully they bring back the legendary 801 but It's more likely they release a new one eg featuring 2x12" or bigger and if so we can expect a great deal lol

Downgrading from 800 to 600 series - Will I Hang Myself Later?
                by emig5m
Want to get a new car and need to put away some money towards a down payment. Thinking of selling my 800 series and dropping back to the 600 series and using the difference towards my down payment. Don't get me wrong, my speakers are in the top five favorite things I've ever owned and I'm not disappointed...

Which series do you own: 600, 700 or 800?
                by RebelMan
Several posts around the forum got me thinking about the popularity of the different B&W series of speakers. I believe of the three primary series (600, 700 and 800) the 600 series is by far the most popular. While the 800 series is reserved for the hi-end esoteric the 600 series is the entry...

Hello to all, first thread for me...

I allways thought the inside of the 800series was purely made of matrix enforcement, but according to the following pictures there's foam all over the place. Wasn't the cabinet suposed to absorbe all kind of reflections?

                I've searched...

                The new 11xx series?
                by csuzor
Being new to Rotel, I don't know what historically had triggered Rotel to change the series, from 9xx to 10xx. Can someone enlighten me?

I see the upcoming digital amps remain 10xx series, wouldn't that have been an opportunity to go for 11xx amps and receivers? Or maybe the future hd-dvd...

                Official SSP-800 Thread
                by RebelMan

Given the number of piecemeal threads floating around regarding the SSP-800 I felt it would be more useful to consolidate the information we currently know about the upcoming processor into a dedicated thread. I believe it would facilitate better record keeping as more information...
