While waiting on a new pair of 804's I sold my cm9's and some darn kid put his finger through the tweeter on my cm5's so all I had left was a little pair of 686's that were used as surrounds in my kids tv room.I had forgotten that these were the 1st b&w speakers I had ever bought and how they started me off on the audio craze. So they were all that was left to use in my main room for front speakers and while they are by no means cm9's or 5's holy shit these little speakers sound good. It's really hard to believe the big sound that is coming from them.

by shivang222I went to my local dealer today to buy B&W 685s and 686s but was told they were not supplied anymore. Apparently, an upgrade is coming out in the first week of September. Can anybody verify this information?-

by e.mann30I just recently purchased the 685 as my main speakers , and the 686 for the rear surround speakers. I don't want to buy the FS-700 CM because of the price. What speaker stands do ya'll recommend for each pair (685) (686) ?-
