    Center advice

I just got a new video cabinet and the opening for the center speaker is 8 1/4" high. Can you suggest a center speaker that will fit that opening and work well with my B&W 803S speakers?

At a minimum you want should have the HTM3s to go with those 803s. It will certainly not fit... At the end of the day any good quality speaker should not be put into a cabinet.

So your choice I think ends up being a lesser MTM design center channel that is not going to match your 803s.
    Main System:
    B&W 801D
    Emotiva USP-1 Pre-Amp
    Chord SPM-650 Stereo Amp
    Oppo BDP-105
    Squeezebox Touch

    Second System:
    B&W CM7
    Emotiva UMC-1
    Emotiva UPA-2
    Oppo BDP-83SE
    Grant Fidelity DAC-09

WAF! I would love to have that and the only place I could possibly put the HTM3s would be on top of the cabinet. I don't think that would be ideal.

Would the CM or CM Centre 2 be an option?

I agree with stuofsci02. No good speaker should be put in a cabinet!. Get the best and biggest center channel speaker that matches your mains. Period.

803S/805S setup - now up and running, and yes, it's impressive!
            by jazzyjez
In October 2007 I asked the question on this forum: "Is an 803/4/5 setup too large for my room?" To briefly recap, I was initially considering the 700 series, but was then trying to determine whether the 800 series would work for me given my slightly narrow room (12ft / 3.7m) and my wishes...

            803s/805s/HTM3s

I cannot afford the classe amplifiers, what would you guys recommend? Ive found a couple of Rotel Amp's 1095 5x200watts, but don't know which processor to use, don't like the rotel...

            HTM1 with 803S
            by mpauline
I have been trying to put together a B&W system by purchasing speakers when the rest of the forum members upgrade

I currently have an HTM1 that I was going to pair with 803's however would the 803S be a better option for an upgrade? My system is for home theater. I realize...

Has anyone tried Earthquake cinenova/ B&W 803s or similar?
            by stewfoo
I am just frustrated with my rotel gear in general. It just seems harsh to me. Is the Earthquake cinenova line a good match for 803s and Htm3s??? Is it an upgrade from a rotel 1095 in terms of sound quality? Is it just raw power that the CINENOVA offers?
